Office 2010 is RTM

Office 2010 (Release to Manufacturing) will be available to download from TechNet and MSDN downloads on Thursday April 22.

Office 2010 is RTM | reportedly..

Various reports including some from NeoWin and Softpedia, indicate that Office 2010 is released to manufacturing. Hopefully we will see it on TechNet and Subscriber Downloads in April.

Configuration Manager 2007 Dashboard released

The Configuration Manager 2007 dashboard is now available for download.  This is a free 9MB download giving administrators a web overview of the SCCM jobs and hierarchy.

The default views are

1. Software Deployment Status
2. Software Updates Management
3. OS Deployment Status
4. Client Operating System (Top 10 only)
5. Desired Configuration Management
6. Client Health State

Vista RTM support ends April 13 2010

Windows Vista release to manufacturing support ends today.  Customers wishing to receive support from Microsoft should upgrade to SP1 or SP2.
